How do I verify my phone number?

Enter your number in international format. We'll send a one-time code by SMS. If it doesn't arrive, wait a moment and tap resend, and check your signal.

How does translation work?

In DMs, messages can be translated into your language automatically. You can turn translation on or off in settings. Translations are produced by automated services and may not be perfect.

What are live captions?

During video and voice calls, Zado can transcribe and translate speech in real time. Captions are optional and can be turned off in settings.

Are my chats backed up?

Yes — you can back up your chats to the cloud and restore them when you set up a new device. Backups are stored in your private, account-protected space and encrypted at rest by our storage provider.

How do I delete my account?

Open Zado → Settings → and choose to delete your account. This removes your account and associated data. You can also email us to request deletion.

How do I block or report someone?

Open the chat or profile and use the block / report options. Reports help us keep Zado safe.
